My ever reliable 'Guardian' tells me that Gordon Brown's latest book sold 32 copies in 4 months, while 'The Third Man'by the Prince (or Queen?) of Darkness is top of Watersones' best seller list. What this tells me is that you can be a bitch, but you can't be boring. We live in a goldfish bowel where, to some degree or other, we're all under constant scrutiny and the one thing that carries the celebrity death penalty is to be even the slightest bit boring. Whether you admire or detest creepy old Lord M,he's always worth watching and listening to. So, if you're an out of work prime minister or, like Tony Hayward (ex BP Oil boss)a wimpy, shifty looking CEO - you just can't afford to be boring - come on in Lady Gaga - HOW many views have you just had on YouTube?
